In the Kristiine district of Tallinn, a new commercial building named K2 was completed in the summer of 2019 at Artelli 19. K2 is the second phase of the very popular K1 (Kadaka tee 4) development, which was completed in the spring of 2018.
The new development offers approximately 2730 m² of rentable space. The building is primarily designed as a single-story commercial facility, divided into independently functioning units that can be used separately or combined into larger rental spaces. Access to the units is available from both sides: a representative customer entrance from Artelli Street and a loading door entrance from the back of the building. Additionally, the Kadaka tee side of the building includes a block of office and service spaces on the second floor.
The building is highly energy-efficient, with an average additional cost of about 1.5 EUR/m² per year. Each space has its own sanitary room with a toilet and shower. Each unit also features an autonomous, energy-efficient heating and cooling solution based on an air-to-water heat pump converter. Solar panels installed on the roof contribute to the building's B-energy class rating.
